at the current coal price unfortunately I think the share price should actually be lower tbh. The profit margins are getting smaller and smaller as the spot price approaches the cost of production.
I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the range between $4.50-$5.50 as the facts and underlying profitability of the company have fundamentally changed if the coal price doesn’t recover soon.
It’s a very negative omen that the spot price is this weak heading into what should be seasonal strength
