lol there is no way minorities will be bought out at any price no where near NTA.
Over time, Westfield (Scentre Group) will use the DRP to dilute the minority shareholders.
Scentre Group will use the DRP mechanism to creap up their shareholdings.
If they achieve 90% they can do compulsory take over.
Secondly, look at the whole REIT sector, there is no listed REIT that is trading anywhere near NTA
Even Scentre Group discount to NTA is currently 32%.
And the headache with DRP, over time the issued shares keep increasing, but the rent doesn't increase as fast, meaning that future dividends per share decrease, simply because of the increased issuance over time.
Watching.... but not striking....
