There's always a few nuggets in the lead up to the AGM!
Yes they are continuing the exploration along strike NW/SE. They have started at the NW corner and further assays will be released to the SE toward Jourdan.
I think I remember seeing drill rigs at the SE end of the pit.
To be honest, it didn't take a genius geo to figure out that the mineralisation would continue along strike.
You can see the continuation in the pit.
Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the first time we have seen drilling at NAL for years, the majority being completed in 2011/2012, with a little done in 2016.
They will get that mine life back up and hopefully hit some decent intercepts in the process.
As we have previously stated, it will grow.... Sylvain will grow the NAL resource along strike NWSE and is aiming to grow the LOM to 40 years.
Why wouldn't you when its before your eyes and you can see it?
And most of the cost for their Jourdan deal is in funding the exploration and subsequent PFS, which they probably would have done anyway.
We may have collected enough data now to not have to drill for a while, reducing our expenditure in this area.
Some more good intercepts at NAL, and Moblan, and our resource definition should be ok for a while, although we will see some more at Moblan in the future I suspect.
Also judging by the cross sections, these intercept depths are from surface. So some of the pit is already at these depths and the extension of the pit is enough to intercept the mineralisation.
So compared to a traditional explorer, getting to these areas will be fairly easy.
