Obviously a two-state solution is dead in the water. The Israeli government is dead against a Palestinian state. More than one USA president has found, to their regret, that suggesting Israel does something positive towards a two state solution will results in unpleasant things happening to to them.
So we are left with a one state solution "From the river to the sea" to paraphrase the Lukid party policy. Currently this is a Jewish lead racist apartheid state with three class of citizen:- 1. Jews ( and people like me around the world who have a "right of return") that have full citizenship rights. 2. Israeli Arabs who have voting rights but are systematically discriminated against. 3. Palestinians who have no rights, even to basic necessities like food and water. And can be kill with no consequences.
Currently the the powers that be apparently see no problem with the current situations apart from those pesky Palestinians that some time violently react to their treatment. So the solution is to eliminate that 3rd layer by making life so unbearable for the Palestinians they leave to somewhere else. Other countries are use to refugees from anti Israel places ( Libya,Iraq,Syria,Lebanon) by now.
Unfortunately if Israel is not successful at expelling the 3rd class Palestinians, in the future, the world may come to the view that racist states are not acceptable and force Israel to grant equal rights to all residents. If this was to occur Israel ceases to be a Jewish state.
So expelling all Palestinians is in fact required to protect Israel. ( and Jordan better watch out)
