It looks like its all going to be slowed up anyway if you read Leroys latest news on GGE thread.
Apparently the Police Jury (sounds eerie), probably comprised of the local Dentist, Mortician, Inn Keeper, Arnold the pig, Mr Haney, and some other Hooterville dignitaries, are not going to approve anymore wells till they have more information.
I did say earlier that they will hold some sort of inquiry and they will convict Mantle after a fair trial.
So the insurance can pay for the entire well.
