But , even if they were , if my daily drive was from end to end of the UK every day , you know , I probably wouldn't use a pure ev. But that is hardly the real world for most people. A childish video for the lads really. If the driving was virtually all under a couple of hundred a day , and I had access to home charging , and it was the stop start driving described was the go , an EV comes into its own.
For me , the obvious solution is a PHEV. Or , in my case , [married , still] a BEV and a Triton . But , if the spouse got sick of me , and I was down to one car , and the capital costs got closer , the PHEV.
