I have to agree Arf.

Lucas is another of the old guard from Altura, and will be in the Buckler vortex, just like big Jim is.

I have found out it even has a name...The Buckler Effect!

The Altura story is interesting, particularly when focusing on its capitulation and ultimate demise.

I have been doing a lot of digging and speaking to a lot of people, and the conclusion is continually the same.

Lucas was part of the Altura fiasco.

Many here would be familiar with the Altura story.

Brown, Buckler and Lucas as legal counsel and financing, did not ring fence Altura adequately.
This allowed a quicker witted neighbour to out manoeuvre their efforts and essentially control their debt...and their destiny.

That board has morphed more wholly into Morella, but also in part in Sayona.

Buckler, from what I can find out, essentially does nothing...doesn't even attend most of the board meetings.
Jim tries, but he is the kind of guy who loves being in the field drilling holes....a great COO, but an MD/CEO?

These guys were all present when Altura went down, when they had thought they had secured debt re-financing and saved the company.

Only to find out they had been out manoeuvred.

These are not ASX 200 directors and probably not even ASX 300 directors.

Their gamblers, taking a punt on another nearology play, which may yield something one day....which they are currently doing at Morella.

But we are another story.....

Before Brett it was only Authier, and post, there is a whole lot more.
He took them on a journey and I think they even don't believe their luck in how far they have come in 2 years.

I wonder now if Buckler is regretting executing Brett?
Did he fully understand the focus this would put on him and his boy Jim?
Did he not realise that his misgivings and failings as a director would now be put in lights, as the investors look to these guys to steer the ship?
Did he realise he could no longer be the faceless man, hiding from his past and not even showing us his photo on our website?
The guy who collects his pay check and barely rolls up to a meeting?
A pay cheque we fund.

These are the guys we are dealing with, and for Sayona to ever have a chance of realising full value, and regaining institutional and retail investor trust, they have to go.
