Weekend Charting is an educational thread. It is a place where people who want to practice charting skills can post examples of their work, and get feedback from other members on the presentation, accuracy, style and prognosis in relation to some equity or other. There is also a large component of structured thinking which benefits from the "many eyes" thing.
On the requests side, anybody is welcome to make a request in relation to anything that can be charted. Bubwell maintains a spreadsheet where you can see if your request has been charted. There is no obligation on any contributer to fulfil any request, and it sometimes happens that no-one fulfills a request, perhaps because no one has an idea.
On the recommendations idea, no one here is qualified to give adivice, that I am aware of. The thread is about charting, and how to construct and read a price chart. It is not a stock picking service, in fact, it is not a service.
Feel free to make a request though, or to post a chart on something to get constructive feedback
