Talk about burning off - didn't the shorts in South Korea cop it today.
SK gov has banned short selling until June 2024 - "in a bid to level the playing field between retail and insto invetsors" - biggest admission by a gov that insto mafias just burn retail - but also burn/manipulate fair value of companies. Anyway some fair value restored today as LG energy - Posco up 20% - Samsung innovation up 10%.
That is the third gov after China imposed bans after retail protests - US is still investigating such and expect some bans soon and now SK.
Guess that will make ASX a fertile ground for global mafia shorting given what a soft target the asx is and Aus gov will react in 10 years given how slow they are to enact anything.
