What a momentous result today, the 16 cohort design now expanded to 26 cohorts with a dose escalation in both IT and IV for monotherapy and combination to extend to 3x10^9 (3 billion virus particles). The plan is now to test up to 150 patients in this expanded design.
Also as we have confirmed the 10-patient expansion cohort will be in bile duct cancer which hopefully will attract FDA orphan drug status for fast-track approval.
And just for good measure there was further explanation of the science - namely the concept of psuedoprogression, "the phenomenon in which the cancer initially appears to be growing, largely due to the cancer cells being infected by the virus then followed by infiltration of cancer fighting immune cells"
November 6th 2023 will remembered as the day when Yuman Fong's cancer killing CF33 oncolytic virus announced to the world that it could find, infiltrate and destroy solid tumors.
I am so pleased for our champion super boss CEO Leslie Chong and her dedicated team and of course for the inventor Professor Yuman Fong.
Hopefully all the trolls and nay-sayers will sliver off and allow these threads to return to some sense of normality.
