Might also ask why FFX and LLL didn't supply photographic updates of their mining activities like most African mining companies, e.g. SFR, JMS, and others. Just go out periodically and take some pictures. Not like it is a formal report or anything, but at least it demonstrates that perhaps they are not just running a big scam.
