Well, that view/assessment is based on various assumptions regarding new supply entering the market in the coming months and years….
…and I think it’s pretty darn clear that in the lithium world, what’s expected/planned to happen wrt new supply does not play out as planned.
So, you might be right, but imo it is not over until the fat lithium lady sings…. and if recent examples from various continents are to be used as examples, she’s far too busy dealing with delays and issues and hiccups and other trouble to even think about singing.
Even BMI’s forecasts of market balance are based on very significant assumptions of supply and demand dynamics…. It is not known what will happen, but imo the supply side just won’t be able to deliver what it thinks it can, when it thinks it can.

….and what keeps this exciting is that …. only time will tell!!!
