It is Interesting to read 2 opposing vews on the issue of raising 8% bonus pool for DM.

I do agree with Polecam to the extent that it is open for various speculations that DM is attempting to protect or secure his portion of the cake. Afterall, we have not received any explanations regarding the proposed increase in the bonus pool. That is: on what basis is DM asking for the increase?

By the same token, Gastrader's rebuttals are compelling and convincing:

1. The BOD's actions and inactions are for the interests of us, shareholders;

2. The science aspect has been completed as per DM's statement - more testing is required to affirm the results and to bring the Chip to commercialisation;

3. It is crucial to be UNITED - to show strength and resilience to any potential buyers.

4. DM and the BOD are as eager to finalise the Chip as us - or may be even more anxious to the point that DM cannot sleep at night!

5. Having an 8% rise would not affect us directly but it does create a great incentive for DM to drive the boat relentlessly. He is for now a Captain of the boat.

To reconconcile, I note that POLECAM did concede that his view has changed after re-reading the updated Website. The reason for voting No appears to me more like a frustration than a logical supporting argument.

All in all, my wife and I have carefully thought it over and decided to cast YES for a raise - with a total of circa 22 Million shares.
