Hamas themselves are determined to fight to the very end for the holy Jihad cause (look at their Charter) and are not interested in genuine compromise or negotiation. They would rather sacrifice Gazan civilians than to listen to the other side or any sort of reason. This is the kind of people the IDF is dealing with.

I agree merj.... but is there a difference between Hamas and Netanyahu? each as obstinate and aggressive, uncaring for civilians/non-combatants, children and babes in arms.
