The provisions or lack of provisions is one of the major issues. The auditing has been too bad for too long.
AUSTRAC were not really acknowledged by PWC and the market has taken a different view to the accounts than PWC did,
Liza Maimone was shunted from banking audit partner to the COO role and is now involved in of all things the energy transition.
WBC accounts and WBC itself would have had an acute problem if the accounts had been qualified.
WBC is in a right old mess.
