If LYC had a USA listing on the NASDAQ market site, vs the NASDAQ OTC market place, it would reduce short selling by at least half (estimate).
ASX traders would be hesitant to hold short positions, with the knowledge that trading 10 hours later on a major exchange could potentially wipe them out, especially if the company releases a positive announcement.
I would be very surprised if LYC has not been thinking over athis matter, as investor will awareness will doubtlessly increase as news of the Texas ground breaking commences.
Interestingly, we meet all the majot criteria for NASDAQ listing, and the application fee is relatively small. A onetime fee of $270,000.00 under rule 5900, to my understanding.
Also note that here in the USA, NASDAQ Over The Counter securities can not be collateralized (borrowed against).
I find it an enigma that a company with a 7 Billion dollar market cap is still traded over the NASDAQ Pink Sheets.
