good morning, boys & girls. not for the first time, replying to myself. so, was I right or was I right in my previous post when I said "don't underestimate uncle sam!"

what incredible resilience the Dow was showing last night! down 76 points lunchtime (NY) & finished up by half a percent at 10552.

the US$ firming of course, and gold in the dumps. JimSinclair kiss my bum! what a dope that guy has turned out to be.

but now to business. anticipating a bad night overseas - crystal ball hazy - I did a few 'exit' explorations. result (only the ones which came up more than once and tradeable via warrants or options)

    ALL BHP RIO STO WES

all of these look extremely vulnerable on chart. but if the Dow intends to recover lost ground, isn't it risky shorting on our market?

one interesting observation re the Dow, and this is unrelated to overnite gyrations: the bollinger-band is tightening by the day. an outbreak one way or the other has to be imminent. amory might just stay on the sidelines, at least until our market shows its colours.

thank you for your kind attention. you may go back to your penny-specs, you are excused.
