I think that the announcement , which I guess will be today before lunch (say 10.30 or 11.00) will be either:
1) Did not meet the rquirements and requires more study (ie a negative)
or
2) Met the requirements, here is the data, we will now move ahead with our plan of implementing a stage 3 trial by (insert date here). (positive.
either way, it can be done today.
