So if the Triangle report and great clinical results won’t move the sp, what Will apart from some sort of deal?? We have spoken before about the shareholders determining the sp and indirectly any buyout figure and if that’s what it’s based on then we aren’t going to be getting any crazy buyout price imo. I understand when the market sentiment is more positive (say before covid) and people are willing to put their money into stocks then the sp increases on positive results and announcements then sets another base for the next increase on the next lot of positive news. Obviously a deal will do this but any news before that is irrelevant when it comes to the sp. If you’re not getting those leg ups until a deal or even after it bcos people are selling out in fear of losing their gains, I just can’t see how this will get to $10, $20 or whatever in this market before any offer is put forward to warrant some of the numbers thrown around. I can’t get my head around the fact that an independent company is telling us part of this drug is worth ‘x’ amount and a BP company can possibly buy this for a fraction of what it’s worth all bcos people are too worried of buying into this and losing their money bcos of market conditions. People say that a company always finds true value over time, but will they in this type of market?
How do you discuss a buyout figure if the market cap is $1bn yet figures and results suggest it’s work $10, $20 or $50bn??
