I am not an expert in metallurgy (maybe someone more experienced in the room can correct me), but I would think that your waste is a slurry rather than a solid, hence the difficulty of shipping the byproducts to another company that has the right processing plant, the freight costs would make it uneconomical.
Your milling/processing circuit would look like something like that just for the copper:
Add additional steps to recover gold and mo and the result is a very expensive plant.
So, yes, it is doable, but your investment would be very high, and it might not even be economic (all the additional processing uses heaps of electricity, if the recovered metal doesn't cover those costs, its of no use).
It is a complex situation, so not a black or white answer here. We'll have to wait for the new JORC study which should shed some light.
