Timing was wrong with this announcement (easy to say in hindsight but it was my first reaction this morning). The Sp was running from the previous announcement last Monday and IMU received a mention on ABC news last night. No need to put more wood on the fire.
Strategically it would have been better to delay this announcement until Monday next week to give it some clean air and let the market digest the previous announcement.
The executive need to be more analytical and less enthusiastic.
