    oh, I'm aware of it

and I knew long back that Oz was stuck between a rock and a hard place on coal and gas too.

I agree with you on that Oz is a success on international relations ----------- and it's really walking on a razor edge in this part of history -

as to the coal ------------ I don't know what they can do really. I think the are solutions - but, they are radical solutions and we just don't do radical.

we are trapped as miners - pretty close to fully dependant on it ------------- and from what I see, it's only going to get worse.

I said before the election (and prior to the previous one as well) ------------ that Oz is buggered.

Buggered if it does and buggered if it doesn't -------------------- coal is one area of the perfect trap - but, there are many others.

Like I said - Chuck Norris and geesus couldn't save Oz

when the BIG scare comes about coal --------------- Oz will pretty much just implode

and I think it's coming - if next year and 25 are similar to 22 and 23 ------------- the world is going to have an all out panic.

Whilst I think that pretty much the 'prevention' of climate change will move from the front of the hob to a smaller burner - there will still be major moves regardless of it being 'too late'

I suspect that Oz will get thrown out with the baby then -------------- but, we shall see, it's going to be a hell of a tumultuous few years IMO
