There would be no social upheaval, or collapse of religion. I agree, judging on the lack of response from the public so far. The interest just isn't there. All that would happen after a 'formal disclosure' is a flourish of reports in the MSM lasting a few days, then everyone would forget about it. I understand in the sense that it would have no immediate or medium term effect on ourt lives. It's not like we're sudddenly going to have access to next level technology. But it's still interesting to a few of us, either way.
The slow drip disclosure reflects the resistance coming from high places. This resistance relates to a few things:
- Serious crimes have been commited. Murder, cover ups, threats, lies. Over an 80 year period. - Once disclosed, the US is afraid that China will go full tilt and try to steal what they have in terms of back-engineering. - The Pentagon will never admit to their wrong doing, so they have to make it seem like UAPs are a new thing, and that's difficult for them. - Many of the higher ups have the view that UAP are demons. - If UAP represent NHI, then it means there's a species superior to ours. People in positions of leadership might lose their power. That terrifies them.
So there's lots of reasons why it's happening slowly, and there's noithing we can do about it. Despite this, I'd say that progress is being made every 6 months or so. We're not standing still.
