The so called "spare" capacity lacks credibility. It has never been adequately explained. On the one hand the plant is designed to operate at 1000 tonnes per day for 300 days. That is the equivalent of 82 percent availability and 100 percent utilisation. The company claims recovery will be 85 percent. Accordingly, 1000 tonnes × 300 days x 16 percent TGC x 85 percent recovery ÷ 95 percent concentrate grade = 42,947 tonnes. Is the company claiming that the "spare" capacity (up to a total concentrate of 60,000 tonnes) is obtained by operating at more than 300 days per year (higher than 82 percent availability)? Even if 100 percent availability and utilisation is achieved the plant output would only be 50,526 tonnes which is never going to happen because it assumes zero breakdown and preventative maintenance. The mention
of spending an additional 1.5 million dollars in the filtration, drying and bagging facility for any additional capacity does not make sense when you have not upgraded the concentrator circuit which precedes it.

I was reading a company presentation from 25th October 2019 where the company listed as one of the key development activities the development of a borefield to supply the process plant with water. The plant will need circa 2 tonnes of water for every tonne of ore. That works out to be more than 600,000 tonnes of water per year (1,644 t/d or 68.5 t/hr or 1.1 t/min). Can anyone confirm that company has commissioned the borefield?
