Dosage makes the poison. Too much of anything is bad. Drinking too much water at once will kill you. Too high of a concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere traps heat, and that's a problem. It's not that hard to understand, unless someone's world-view, politics or whatever prevent them from doing so.
