how much do you think it costs to have a radiographer get out of bed at 3am in a rural town drive to the hospital get a patient and then do a scan?
how much do you think it costs task a radiologist to report a scan at 3am?

agree it can be hard to persuade a radiographer to move to the country, but at the established rural sites there aren’t competitors trying to poach your staff (like in urban spots).
on the positive side, with margins struggling, I can’t imagine competition would be increasing via new capacity in the industry.
