    Australia very similar story !

    Although at present NZ and AUS property still rising.

    Depends when you enter and sell.

    My family bought a house in Raglan st Cremone in 1984 for 185K and sold it last year for 3,9m

    If you had bought around the time of COVID you may be in strife of making payments but in the long term OK!
