I just spoke with ARU:

*They were very professional and careful not to overstep any boundaries-that was obvious.
*The shorting they confirmed was definitely not Hancock.
*They believe it is small super funds/index funds who are loaning out shares for extra income. Therefore dump your sad ars*d industry funds.
*They are confident but notably reserved in saying that newsflow will support the SP and have the shorters scrambling.
*Offtakes to roll first.
*They believed ECE exit didn’t help, those shorting the market. They tried for an off market sale. But ECE thought they would get a better price on market. They were wrong.
*They discussed Pilbara Minerals and similarities with shorting. Also, how they had a complete turn around from 2019. My view: is that’s our yardstick…
* RE-iterated the US$775M loans as per recent quarterly… aiming to deliver. So that’s $1.2B Aussie from my conversion. And with $100M already spent… that’s not as much to raise as I first calculated.
*The key person I spoke with supported another capital raise with another mining company much larger than ARU is after. Now, he also mentioned it took just as long. So, it sounds all on track from an experienced campaigner. Personally the time it has taken was what I believed about two years ago as well.
*I will drop them a line in about a month, December and give an update again.
