Just thinking outside the box here, but with this latest news, and the supposed class action by land owners and well as the stoush with the govt on royalties, I just wonder if, in actual fact, the company is being a little provocative on purpose.
I note that inventory is kept overseas, and I pretty sure the cash is residing outside of SL, so perhaps they are niggling the govt into a deal to sell the asset to a friendly of the Govt's or another overseas operator.
Given Area A generates $14 mill USD a year in cashflow and/or inventory and Sembehum is due it's DFS in January, there are worse things one could buy, if one was comfortable with the sovereign risk.
