Yes, correct. Too many Lithium juniors who will struggle to get projects developed as the Lithium price tanks. Marginal high cost curve projects won't get out of the ground.
The market remembers 2018-20, when PLS struggled to get funding. Well, the result was not enough Lithium came online and the inevitable price spike occurred. So here we go again. Demand waves will not stop and lack of incentive pricing will come back to haunt downstream participants, again. This time, PLS doesn't need funding and will once again be in a position to snap up cheap juniors if they desire and have 1Mt available to sell at high prices.
And so the cycle repeats.
The cure for low prices is low prices.
