But even then, one reason you quote is nonsense, as one doesn't need to understand how 'EV's work - I doubt many people bought any type of car only because they understood how they work. One usually goes into a dealer and look for a car that suits their needs - doubtful how it works is high on the agenda but do care about price paid and whether it's fit for purpose. Years ago if ladies were buying - the color and styling and perhaps internal features were a priority - didn't need to look under the hood for that.
