Perhaps next you can learn a little more and include some of the derail of how the initial exploration results were exploited and managed, and the processes and peoples involved in that?
For a start - the first camel was imported by the poms in 1840 (most of the other camels died on the way). The Victorian Government imported more camels in 1860 to facilitate expeditions and open up the interior. The first cameleers were actually British Indians from Karachi (which was then India) not Afghani, although cameleers were later also brought in from Afghanistan, Egypt and what was then the Ottoman Empire.
The initial explations were not exploited, they were instigated by the state governments of the time and the cameleers were hired to do what cameleers do.
