Yes, logic. In this world of computing, online presence and push, AI infiltration and so forth one should expect some logic. Sadly even as one may put up what seems a perfectly logical argument, one gets either attacked or confronted with illogical responses.
I don't know what they teach these days in higher level institutions but I do know that years ago as a student I remember being taught not only rudiments but also encouraged to think. I do believe many institutions seem to have taken a different approach - perhaps a case of do as I say without question or else.
Odd how EV's are predicted to be the way of future transportation in order to 'help save the planet' even as many are burning down emitting more toxicity than any ICE vehicle in normal operation. If EV's are the future - the future is getting bleaker by the minute. Just imagine 1.5 billion or so EV's being either driven around and then looking to be charged and many self igniting having thermal runaways. Perhaps they'll install rainwater tanks nearby. Then add in E road trains and E buses?
It is logical to keep ICE vehicles as long as practicable. That view though seems illogical to most in the EV world.
