The point is that - given the emotional kneejerking, trash posts and erroneous assumptions that have been aired on HC since the merger was announced - at least some of the 22 have no real idea of what’s best for this company in the long term.

The point is that these 22 shareholders own 9.29% of the company and are trying to stop the merger no matter what the position is of the board and hundreds of other shareholders.

And I feel at least some of the 22 might be motivated by an expectation they will be offered a better deal than the 12 AVL shares for each TMT share which the company’s leaders and professional institutions consider is reasonable.

This is a bit over the top..

We've all invested large sums of money here based solely on our own research, logic, opinion. If everyone needed to be an expert sophisticated investor with an independent report on every company before they chose to invest in them, we wouldn't have an ASX.

We absolutely know what the report will say, and most likely no one will disagree with 95% of it, including that the merger should and will happen.

Why can't you simply accept and let it go that adults here, who have backed this company with what 10% of their market cap (a few million $ at least) have used their judgement to decide that 12:1 avl shares does not equate to what they feel their shares are worth?

Regardless of what an independent report says.

Just accept that being part owners of this company, we have the right to decide what value we think it is worth.

You are really beating a dead horse. And by continually argueing against something every share holder has the right to, their opinion, your out on limbs that can only snap under you however intelligent or facts and figures based your posts are.

No one is harrassing you for liking this merger and accepting the offer price as fair, in fact I haven't seen anyone harrassed for voicing that opinion. But the few who aren't going with the flow, that seems to be not on in your opinion.
