Sabine, it happened for me in my early 20s and it was one of the most important things you can learn in life.
I realised that all these professionals that you hold in such high regard are just regular humans, often with imposter syndrome and a lot of doubt. They’re just winging it like you and I and really don’t know anything more than we do.
It’s like when you’re a kid, you think adults have it all figured out and then you become an adult and you’re continuously waiting for the moment you feel like an adult.
You put them on a pedestal for some reason thinking they’re some superior being when really they’re just going to act in their own interests.
You also seem think that they have more of a right to decide what happens to the company and that their shares are worth more than ours which is bizarre.
We are all shareholders. We all have the right to vote. We are all entitled to exercise that right.
We are all equal.
