Morning Grain, I'd place a very high likelihood of the SP Doubling upon FDA Approval..... BOT wouldn't be the first to gain a gain of that degree...
IMHO a Licensing Deal for Asia could look like $250m p/a , remember there are significant sales costs involved with Pharmaceuticals , your average Chemist enjoys circa 80% to 100% Retail Margins...
On going it alone ,,, always difficult to gear up in so many markets especially when there are imbedded incumbents who are raking in high Millions to Billions clipping tickets.. The issue becomes Distribution and Storage plus Payment Collection.
Eg in NZ Zuellig Pharma supply every single Chemist , they Warehouse and Distribute daily to every Chemist and Medical Centre/ Hospital, so your Delivery cost of a single product is absorbed in the parcel lot of say 30 drugs/ Treatments.. Imagine the cost of sending a single applicator of the Hyperhidrosis Treatment.. plus raising a single invoice... where as each month the Chemists/Medical Centres / Hospitals have a single invoice from a major distributor like Zuellig . Plus imagine the administration and Customer Care in 60 plus Countries...
Regrettably the die is set and if you don't utilise these Distribution Channels you are actually competing with significant players so you can see why its simpler to play the game..
TBH on a Buy out for BOT I would wait for a year or two of Revenue , the Multiplier should be 5X Revenue then the IP ( especially if there is significant life left in the Patent 16,17 years) you could see quite quickly how BOT can be valued at $1B to $1.25B..
SP has held up incredibly well but I do believe the market understand the SCIENCE is IN,,, it's only the Applicator Instructions that have caused the delay but we know that can be remedied in the next 3 to 4 months, possibly sooner as BOT have engaged some serious Silk in the States that specialise in FDA Application and meeting the FDA Regulatory Standards...
BOT is certainly on my radar and many others ,,,, as I have expressed previously , This Christmas Period is picked to be financially harsh on retail investors so I would suspect a small sell off end of November early December... any form of Positive Update from Management will re-ignite the fire...
