The charging station may not be blocking the footpath but as for the diesel generator?? I thought the electric vehicles will be charged with solar and wind?? How does diesel fit in?? What hypocrisy from loonies.
Perhaps it's time not to put fuel in the diesel generator and collectively shut all coal fired plants right now - just keep such there for looks and a reminder of soon to be 'relics' - relics that actually worked for decades without issues of sponteneously being burned down.

But then of course how do a few Christmas decorations cause such an issue as to make the homeowner - a ratepayer by the way - the very ratepayer keeping these council clowns in work - take them down?? The homeowner should send the bill to the council every time the front section outside the front fence is mowed or maintained - the very job these clowns fail to do but not shy of increasing the annual rates or dishing out ridiculous and stupid directives - often as a result of one single idiot that has nothing better to do than to complain, perhaps knowing all too well that councils will act on a single complaint.

Guessing it's not your home with those Christmas lights nor your shopfront taking customer parking spaces away from your business. Guessing also that you wouldn't mind one in front of your home - perhaps a faster charger then the home based one - perhaps not at all worried of the possibility of the diesel generator exploding.
