I had to take you off ignore Imme to respond to this one. Not to 'feed the troll' as they say, but to set the record straight for any prospective investors who may take your cost estimates as accurate (or even ball-park accurate).

And I really enjoyed the irony in your comment about spreading 'fake news', for what its worth.

Here is the companies PnL from the most recent annual report - it shows exploration and evaluation expenses for both FY23 and FY22 (remember there were three significant discoveries made in these two years, and the majority of drilling completed that went into our recent MRE).




Your estimated drilling expense of $24m pa is more than double that of FY23. CNB have proven to be effective and efficient with their exploration in my opinion. And if you recall reading the notes, made by other posters, from the AGM - the corporate overheads are now being covered by interest earned from our current cash reserves. Not bad if you ask me.

Undoubtedly CNB will need to raise again at some point - and I think Macquarie alluded to that in their recent report where they assigned a sp target of $1.10. But I don't think it is soon.

As an investor, I choose to invest in an explorer that is a net value creator - which I believe CNB is. As such I have confidence that any capital raised (at some point in the future) will be put to creating further value for me, a shareholder.
