    Let me add further

So the Chinese are happy to accept the highly prized, good quality, reliable supply of Australian Lithium, but at prices dictated by the ever growing smallish African supply? Those small quantities are pushing down the lithium price, which then impacts long term agreements. Its a friggin win win win for the Chinese manufacturers

No wonder the Europeans have launched a subsidiary probe against the Chinese manufacturers. The Chinese EV manufacturers, are now beating the Europeans at their own game - to some extent, due to the government incentives, as well as reducing their raw material inclusive of Lithium

Moreover, the working conditions, quality of ore body, business ethics are non existent coming from Africa. Cheap labor, bribery to government officials, that is how business is done in Africa. So how does Australian mines compete in such an environment? No Frigging IDEA

Let me put another thought, if the spot price goes to say $500, will PLS and all the other miners still have to supply lithium, as per their contracted supply agreements at the prevailing spot prices?
