One point I will bring up is that shorting is hardly mythical - when it is over 7%. The correlation between the SP value and shorting positions is obvious.
I will not push the point that short positions involve attempts to cross trade the SP down - because it is logical for that to happen, and you seem to have a great deal of experience with the way the share markets work so you would know that already
If you do have an alternative reason for the SP's decline that trumps that view, I sincerely hope you would share that with us. The fundamentals for IMU continue to improve so it is not the company's fault.
