Just two points.
1. I agree that it is highly likely to happen ( electrification that is ) what I don't agree is that global warming is a threat to mankind or that it is even really happening outside the boundaries of normal change over time.
2. I also disagree that it will happen in the time frames that have become stated by pollies ( Joe, heaven help the world )and so called experts.
We are now seeing massive problems with insurance and depreciation of EV's and I think they will be banned from public parking stations and ships ( fire ) very soon. Who will buy one then if they can't go to a shopping centre or park in a long term park while they catch a plane?
At the moment they are for people wanting to seem green ( virtue signalers ) but even that will change if they cannot use them effectively.
Who doesn't love a Hilux, but you would know that you would not want to be out in the bush with a problem in one.
Can't jump start them, can't tow them, and the voltages are so high that if you don't know what you are doing you will be fried like an egg if you work on one.
Elon has given up on the Mega truck for now and most car makers are putting them on hold until the problems are sorted.
Not suitable for Oz for a bloody long time yet. Europe will still probably buy some but they may even stop if a few big fires happen.
