I guess I accept the USA as the referee and policeman being the only country/power that shares my view of capitalism and freedom and is capable of enforcing that power. It is also a partner in the power balance in the Pacific Area. That is the role it played to end WW2.
The dominance and influence is reduced with Biden in control but with Trump still in the background the USA is still a force to be reckoned with. I suggest that Israel can still rely on the USA to stand with them against the Iranian backed Hamas.
