Yeah who would have though the USA would have to defend it's self from a would be dictator.
The case was always going to be appealed all the way to the SC regardless so it is there that it will be settled.
How ever some legal experts have suggested that the judge in Colorado may made a strategic move. She has already ruled that Criminal Defendant Trump was involved in an insurrection so going forward with the appeal that need not be addressed again.
Trump lawyers would need to appeal the judges ruling that Criminal Defendant Trump but given that is not at the heart of the matter I don't think that can be appealed
