A perfect opportunity missed to remove these 'stretch targets' (below). Any one, or combination, of which should fall under the basic duties of the CEO in the period ahead. These 'stretch targets' are in fact things that are required across the next 6-9 months to avoid shareholders being diluted into oblivion (1 or 2) or something that has been promised over several years, which during that time has had a nasty habit of being an ever-disappearing dot on the horizon, and now - when they must actually start to act on the promise - they suddenly want performance bonuses for (3).
