MEI would not be interested in VMM, MEI had first mover advantage in the area and carefully choose the ground the best ground, they weren't interested in VMM's ground because it was not farmland and hence extra developmental risks....
MEI's land is mainly farmland where the land holder will make more money from royalties than from anything else. They are on very good terms with all the land owners and they looks forward to seeing this get into production so they can earn lucrative royalties they even have the Aussie flag fly when MEI are there from what I have heard
