So I guess that the current situation is completely fluid and that blockchain style tracking of product sourcing is something which cannot be ignored by anyone.
At least Indonesia are looking to have better compliance in ESG matters, but it seems that they are only doing it so that they are not entirely reliant on China for buying its nickel products.
Can't have your Nasi Goreng and eat it too!
TBH, I don't want Indonesia to access the IRA, so if the source you mention has any credibility then that's good for ex-Indonesia nickel supply.
