The coals causing us grief during the TLC runs seem to be around 3130mMD. As I've noted already how much the mud weight contributed to washing out of these coals depends on the mode of failure for the coals. Some coals will fracture if mud weight is too high....others will tend to stay in one piece with a higher mud weight. Usually when coals get around 2m or thicker they cause grief with logging tools....especially when logging tools are long or in the case of TLC rigid and unable to be turned which makes it harder to work them past ledges.

Yes it's a nails gripping the edge of the seat ride for some of us.
