There should have been knowledge, support and sales synergies being an Oracle Partner.
Plus there is a cost involved being a partner and that doesn't include the commissions which Oracle gets from any sales.
Should read up a bit more on how ruthless Oracle / Larry Ellison are on sales/licensing tactics.
Think about it a bit more and then relate back to those OCI hosting costs.
Guess it is hard to visualise when you have never used OCI before so don't blame you. I'm a user of OCI so know some stuff about it.
Just hope for all shareholders that Prophecy can get those OCI costs under control and start figuring out how to take advantage of those synergies.
