I 100% agree.
In hindsight, if AGY was to get taken over at $0.50c I would take all of my gains and put it into Albemarle.
I did some rough calculations, an exit in AGY at $0.50c would mean I could put 75% of my profits into Albemarle, and that would need to go back to about 85% of all time highs ($290/share) for me to get to $1m, whereas I would need AGY to go to $1.72 to get $1m.
If I was to put 100% of my proceeds I would only need Albemarle to go to $250 - which I think is feasible.
Albemarle has also has suffered a massive drop, there are absolutely no concerns about processing or ramp up issues, they are already diversified in multiple jurisdictions, have a huge war chest and are much more of a sure thing.
AGY is more risky, but I am currently invested in AGY because I am expecting AGY to outperform Albemarle in the near term IF they can get their act together.
I respect Pablo's experience, but I do not think he should have an infinite amount of time to sort out the processing issues. At some stage this company needs to become a commercial / nameplate producer.
