If the company wanted more "help" / $ for drilling ATM, why wouldn't they place shares with one of these so called big players that are circling as they have the autonomy to do so. Would have created great optics for the company if it was actually the case.
In terms of this particular investor, logic dictates that he would have waited for a capital raising and therefore would have acquired far more shares at a discount if he wasn't looking to hedge his position and sell into the liquid FPO market.
